CALLING ALL PLAYERS!

After over two years, the Community Play Project is thrilled to return to the stage with a brand new theatre workshop!

 

Join us at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, Saturday, December 17, or Sunday, December, 18, for a fun-filled day of singing, dancing, and more as we attempt to put on a Play-in-a Day!

Whether you're new to theatre or an old pro looking to brush off the dust, this is a great opportunity to make new friends, try new things, and experience the joy and magic of theatre. No experience necessary! Individuals of all ages (10+), abilities, and skill levels are invited to participate. 

​

How It Works: Throughout the day, participants will work with our talented staff and volunteers, exploring various aspects of theatre from acting and improv, to musical theatre dance and costuming, all while working to put together a showcase of holiday-themed songs and scenes for family and friends. 

​

Each session will run from 9am-5pm, with a short lunch break from 11:45am-12:45pm (Pizza provided!), and a public performance for friends and family at 4:30pm. Participants must be present for the full workshop to perform in the showcase.
